Shopiere Soda Shop & Ice Cream Bar
1950's Style family friendly Soda Shop... Great Breakfast T-F 7-11am, Homemade Pizza, Gyro's, Wings & Ice Cream... T-Sun 4-9pm with full liquor license. This Historic Soda Shop dates back to the Mid 1800's. Once owned by Governor Harvey during the Civil War, the store has always been a General Mercantile holding elections, town meetings, once a post office, to most known as The Shopiere Store owned by the Kopp family from 1950 til the late 80's. Ran as a Soda Fountain & General Store it was known as the gathering place for all around. You could get your fresh ground burger from the meat counter to a house made fountain drink, we are proud to have breathed life back into this fixture in our community.
