Whether you are a long-time customer or a new visitor, welcome to our popular little ice cream shoppe located in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin, located on Lake Nokomis. Generations of local residents and visitors to the Lake Nokomis area have fond memories of getting ice cream and other treats from The Windmill. Some people have described their trips to The Windmill as "a religious experience". Not only do we offer your favorite ice cream flavors in cones or bowls; we also can make you a shake, malt, sundae, or banana split with any flavors you wish. We also have frozen slushies, refreshing semi-frozen drinks for those who want a cold, non-dairy treat. We've made our own pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup since 1989. In addition, we have cold beverages and a selection of unique candy treats. Scrumptious servings at a very reasonable price!
