Wisconsin Cow Week

As a Wisconsin dairy farmer, you provide the best care for your animals – sometimes even better than yourself. Help Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin highlight this care with Wisconsin consumers by participating in Wisconsin Cow Week! This will be a weeklong social celebration of Wisconsin cows, ending with a people’s choice of their favorite Wisconsin cow.

How it works:

  1. Share a photo and caption highlighting your farm story and relationship with your animals through the submission form below.
  2. Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin staff will select the top ten in the class of Wisconsin cows submitted. The top ten Wisconsin cows will receive a Culver’s gift card.
  3. Let’s get social – the top ten Wisconsin cow photos will be shared on the America’s Dairyland Facebook and Instagram to allow consumers to choose their favorite Wisconsin cow.
  4. Following results of the social polls, the Grand Champion, Reserve Champion and Honorable Mention Wisconsin cow will be selected. Winning submitters of these photos will receive a World Dairy Expo prize pack, courtesy of Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.

*Hint: for the best chance to win, include a high-quality photo using clean animals, a nice backdrop and good lighting.

Alice and Betty

My cows mean the world to me, but especially this cow! This is one of my family’s show animals that we take to our local fair. She loves to strut her stuff around the ring, and I love the extra special bond that I’ve formed with her.

Sally

My favorite part about living on a Wisconsin dairy farm is the relationships I build with our animals. This cow is one of my favorites in our herd and she comes from a long line of high-quality cows we raise. Plus, she’s super pretty!

My son understands the value of hard work at his young age because of growing up on a Wisconsin dairy farm. Plus- we get to spend quality time together as a family on the farm. This is him with his favorite girl!
